Solo Trip for 8 days! [Article 8: The Beginning of Realization]

Read this article to know what happened earlier. Solo Trip for 8 Days! [Article 7: The Beginning of Trekking]

The view was spectacular. Neither can anyone paint those moving whitish clouds between those colored mountains of different sizes and shapes nor can one simply imagine and express its magnificent beauty. I understood how beautiful our world is! And, I was able to see who was spoiling it. US! HUMANS! We are so engrossed in our fake lives that we truly forgot what life and nature has for us. We litter everywhere we go. (Okay, No offense. Some of us). Who will clean that? Us? Or Do we need to wait for someone or something magical to happen? I realized that if it’s us who do sh*tty things, it should be us cleaning it. That’s when we realize how distracted and how careless we have become. It’s easy to litter. You don’t need to flex anything much. It is difficult to clean because you need flex. Flex it now to live tomorrow. To create a better environment for our future generation.

When we returned, we had become closer than the previous night. We enjoyed it a lot. I have a video that I cannot share publicly. It’s private. It’s confidential. 🙂(for obvious reasons) We were so tired that we couldn’t sleep properly that night. The next day, we had another trek to DeoriaTal Lake. It wasn’t as long as Tungnath but very tiring. It had big old rocks which were big enough to get anyone tired easily. The trek stick I had turned out to be a life savior. All were ahead of us. It was just me and Shivam who were taking turns with the stick and supporting each other. I realized the importance of someone in your life. I realized that we need to learn to treasure things that we have with us instead of sulking about things that aren’t. After all, who has seen tomorrow? Who knows when our journey ends? Who knows how it’s going to end? All we can do is support each other and make it less painful for each other. I could have climbed by myself but it would have been difficult. With the right support, the journey was less difficult. It’s a psychological thing! When we are around the right people who give us enough support and motivation, we feel the greater power to do more. FOR US.

While I was passing by, I met an old trainer who was waiting for his group. When he saw me huffing and groaning, he said “Chalo beta, jyada door nahi hai… Ho gaya bus!” (Let’s go son, it's not that far. We are almost done!). I felt good. I was able to breathe better and deeper yet exhausted. I realized the importance of having elders (Who has seen and experienced life) is worth treasuring. They know when and how to put things out so that we don’t give up. When I finally reached, my group were already enjoying themselves and taking pictures of each other.

During this period, I spoke and built good connections with Yash and Mohan. We spoke about our professional life and whereabouts. I realized that schools didn’t teach us one of the important things in life. THE CONNECTIONS! Why didn’t they teach us that humans need connections to survive, live, and prosper. Why did they teach us to be in a rat race? Why didn’t they guide us better? Why did they only focus on winning? Why didn’t they teach us the importance of failure and how one can get out of it?

Is it that they don’t know how to live a good life? Or… is it that they don’t want us to live a good life? What do you think?! Sochne wali baat hai… nai?

There's no end to the lessons that life has for us. If we are open, we learn. If we are reserved, we suffer.
